Bottled Aura exists to prove that world-class perfumery can be born, blended and bottled in West Africa — and worn everywhere.
How it began
“It started with childhood visits to Makola market — trails of oud and shea in the air that I never forgot.”
Bottled Aura was born from an obsession with scent that never faded. We watched the world treat African luxury as an afterthought and decided to build the counter-argument: a fragrance house that sources the world’s rarest materials — oud, Taif rose, fine resins — and blends them with an African sensibility, right here in Accra.
We chose oils, not sprays, deliberately. Alcohol-free perfume oil is how fragrance has been worn on this continent and across the Middle East for centuries: closer to skin, longer on the day, kinder to the body. Every bottle that leaves our atelier carries intention, culture, and a relentless pursuit of olfactory perfection.

From raw material to your wrist
How an Oil is Born
Sourcing
We select raw materials from their finest origins — agarwood resins, rose absolutes, citrus essences and shea — testing each batch before it earns a place in the blending room.
Blending
Our perfumer composes each oil in three movements: a top that announces you, a heart that defines you, a base that people remember you by.
Maturation
Blends rest for four to six weeks in darkness. Time rounds the edges and lets the notes marry — this step cannot be rushed, so we don't.
Hand-Bottling
Each 12ml vial is filled, sealed and inspected by hand, then signed off before it joins the collection.
